natural gas cogeneration (chp)

SCHMITT ENERTEC Natural Gas Cogenertation (CHP) units are excellently qualified for easy and space saving installation due to their compact design with integrated control- and switchboard and electrically ventilated noise protection enclosure.

Exhaust gas cleaning is effected by 3- way catalysts with naturally aspirated engines and with oxidation catalysts with turbo-charged engines.

For areas with more stringent environmental rules, turbocharged engines with 3-way catalyst and Emission gas return are available.

The most effective noise protection is giving the chance for the sets being used even in residential areas.

Structure- borne noise is avoided by elastic mounting of the complete set and the vibration de- coupling of engine- generator unit towards the base frame.

The sets can be operated either with preference of electric power or of thermal power and also with the function for emergency power supply upon request. natural gas cogeneration (chp) open

The PLC control system allows for fully automatic operation with the mains and moreover for remote control by telephone modem and internet access.

The oil level of the motor oil pan is controlled by contacts with topping up from the built in tank with sufficient volume to bridge the time gap within the service intervals.

Easy service and maintenance is granted by simply removable side wall elements effecting free access to the engine and such short working periods.

Manufacturing quality and high availability are rounding the performance of our cogeneration (CHP) sets.

Beside the compact units up to 400 kW, SCHMITT ENERTEC supplies also individually designed plants up to 2 MW size. They are usually packaged at the customer side.
