Our ENERCARB Woodgas Heat and Power plants are designed for the energetic utilization of nature-left wood or wood-like fuels.
Fuels, for example, can be:
Picture right: Woodgas Heat and Power plant in Nagahama, Japan, 200 kW electric Power
The fuel is prepared and afterwards gasifired during single step process.
The producer gas is washed, filtered and burned in an internal combustion engine, which drives an alternator for electricity production.
The heat from engine jacket water and exhaust is partly used for the processing of the fuel and is mainly available for heating purposes like district or process heating.
The plant concept is modular. One gasifire unit with associated gas scrubber produces gas for one gas-engine CHP with 250 KW electrical power. Two, three or more gasifire in parallel, form larger plants with standardized design. The wood drying, gasdrying-/ and filtering takes place together for one or more gasifirer units.

The ENERCARB process covers the total concept of the plant.
The heart is the ENERCARB gasifier which because of its high gasification temperature above 1200 °C, produces a pure producer gas.
In addition, all further process steps are particularly designed and co-ordinated for the process and therefore an essential component of the ENERCARB woodgas heat and power plant.
The plant with its individual components is manufactured, installed and serviced completely by SCHMITT ENERTEC.
