CHP is a reliable, cost-effective option for WWTPs (Waste Water Treatment Plants) that utilize, anaerobic digesters.

The methane from the digester is utilized as a fuel to generate electricity and heat. ENERGIN GEN, GEN+ and CHP are available for operation on such biogas flow from the digester. Especially CHP are very cost effective, as the heat production can be utilized to provide the heating for the digester. In many cases the heat recovery from our ENERGIN GEN+, Generators sets with heat recovery from engine jacket water, produce enough heat for that purpose.
